LORI ARBEL

Lori Arbel - A Self PortraitTeaching artist Lori Arbel encourages the community to explore and bring out their artistic voice through her company Venture With Art. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts and a BA in Art Education from the University of Florida, as well as a MS in Art Education from Florida International University, and a Graphic Design Certificate from the Parsons School of Design. She has been teaching since 2002.

Her works spring from memory and a lifelong fascination of the everyday. Metaphorical imagery is produced methodically and intuitively with a mixed media approach. This helps clear blockages and promotes happiness through art. These patterns and interests have influenced her personal and professional pursuits including her teaching.

Career highlights include ongoing local gallery showings; NYC gallery shows; exhibited at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Colorado; photos in CARE’s Annual Report & Website; Peterson’s Photographic Magazine; College Photographer of the Year, Michigan State University Design Contest Winner, UF Art & Literary magazine cover art Award, and many of my students compete and win art awards.
